That right there, in the photo? That's the same raven that drove off the young bald eagle last week. He's back, busy gathering food and, at that moment, trying to shake some of the snow off his feathers. How do I know it's him? I saw him come in for a landing, and he's missing the same wedge from the center of his tailfeathers.

Like the song says, you gotta be brave, you gotta be strong. He's both.

Me? Not so much, at least with regard to the latter. The weather has my knees in an uproar (and all my other joints besides), and I'm slower than ever. But like the raven knows, the work has to get done, regardless.

And we have new work! The bolo is done, and it's here, and it's fabulous. [It's also Sunday's featured work at The NDN Silver Blog.] There's another cuff (amethyst), plus a casual necklace and a bolo (both turquoise, in very different styles). I posted those a few nights ago, here and here. I also got Wings's newest ring posted a few weeks ago, and more importantly, I got that incredible new collar-style necklace up, here (and you need to see it, all of it, all of the photos of all five pendants and the beads). It's extraordinary, and it's looking for its home.
