Now posted at The NDN Silver Blog, it's a photo meditation for a Monday in the midst of catastrophic climate change and the half-life of colonialism, another day when medicine is promised but as yet undelivered. It's a reflection on a more immediate disaster on a summer's day eighteen years ago, on the promise of new and vulnerable green, and of the truth that elemental gifts require respect for elemental risks.

With the economy dead courtesy of more than a year's worth of uncontrolled pandemic, we are still going to need to make consistent sales to make it through this month, with its high biannual bills and new medical expenses, into the next, to say nothing of the season (one that has already been bitter indeed for our communities), so shares of the site links are much appreciated.
