The problem with the groundhog.

Another glorious day, which means unseasonably and dangerously warm, highs already fifty and above. The problem with the groundhog is that for us, here? He never gets it right.

Of course, if the forecast is right, 24 hours from now that same view will look very different. We'll see. 

Turns out the ATV is not repaired on every front. There are baffle-like sleeves that cover the rods that link the wheel to the axel, and they're made of heavy rubber. Which means frankly not a lot in a climate like this one, and sure enough, the left one disintegrated on the end around the axel, beneath the clamp. So it's back to the shop this week, and Spirit only knows how much that's going to set us back. We may also need to get the vet out for one of the chicks (or not; we're waiting and observing [long story; injured leg]).

And as always, I'm behind already. I've got a ton of other work to get caught up on this weekend, but I still need to bring in one sale a week to break even. I did get his new ring posted yesterday, but more importantly, I got that incredible new collar-style necklace up, here, and you need to see it, all of it, all of the photos of all five pendants and the beads. It's extraordinary, and it's looking for its home.
