Snow and stress and good vibes needed on a bunch of fronts.

Raven, waiting for a treat yesterday evening. He's still very motivated by that.

He's lying more or less at my feet right now, on his bed in the dark. It's been a stressful week for him, and for us, too, and that won't be over until tonight. [It won't be over then, either, but at least the testing will be done, for the moment, anyway.]

So. Today is it. Yes, I'm scared; I'd be stupid not to be. The only thing as frightening as what they might find that's not fixable is that they might not be able to identify anything at all, which would mean I'm still at just as much risk on the daily, with no guidance for addressing it. These have been a terrifying 14+ months. Complicated it all, we have snow, and they've upped the estimates for accumulation. It's supposed to stop tonight (natch), then restart tomorrow night with even heavier falls, but today's going to be dicey. And we have to leave Raven here (he doesn't like the car), so my worry quotient for the day is already way over the top. Whatever you've got to keep everything cool, we could use it today.

Regardless of the result, there will be much more medical stuff after this, although we don't know the form and shape it will take yet. Hopefully, something fixable, and relatively easily so. Meanwhile, all this stuff is piling up fast, so here are the links for sharing (or using, if anyone's so inclined):
  • My Patreon, The Interstices (Writing Between Worlds) (and if you subscribe today you won't be billed until January 1st for December);
  • Wings's site, for sales, with lots of new items posted;
  • Wings's direct PayPal link;
  • A way to buy me coffee (which actually goes to all of our medical bills, which continue to mount);
  • Amazon wishlist, which mostly consists of animal and household stuff;
  • Partial registry #1, from Bed, Bath and Beyond. There are new kitchen-y things on it now, stuff that I didn't realize we'd need to replace (either because the RV ruined it or because we gave it away when we had to downsize).
As I also said, Coyote is in the spirit world now, with a hole in my heart is never going away, and I'd really like not to have it grow by Raven size right now. Good vibes for Raven would be especially welcome today; we could use some for me, too.
