A new line of storms.

That was this morning; the clouds are closer now. I don't think we'll actually see any rain out of it until evening. Every day, though, it's a new line of storms.

That's a good thing.

Even so, it's not enough to make up for the damage done. Damage still being done. As I said yesterday, it's an unavoidable truth that every window of well-being and survival shrinks by the day. I'm not talking about money; I'm talking about the health of the earth, of the land and water and simple time, and we are feeling the pressure every bit as much as the wild birds who are finding their own seasonal timelines collapsed.

And now we've got the catalytic converter replacement on the truck next week, so I really, really need to get the new pieces up and promoted. The two complete ones are on the site in their respective galleries, but the earrings are also today's blog feature; it'll be a few days before the necklace is complete. The cuff is absolutely extraordinary, and you need to see it. Regardless, I need to be chasing sales on every front, but I have so little time to do anything lately. As always, expect everything to be late; hips, knees, ankles, feet are all very bad right now, and both my hands have decided that they're going to be uncooperative (and extremely painful) too.
