Struggling today.

They're beginning to open today — the pear blossoms. Not fully open yet; that will probably take a couple more days, maybe the weekend. The late cold and the wind have made it hard for them, and all that smoke from someone's fire up the road last night (yes, with the winds, far too close for comfort). And the winds are bad today, with another red flag warning. Which is probably why my joints are such mess, why my right (and dominant) thumb is subluxed badly, and all of that is why I'm struggling today. 

And I've got to get a lot done offline, never mind online. I'm so far behind today, because when you lose most of the use of your dominant hand, it makes everything a thousand times harder. I just hope it resets itself overnight, but the reality is I've probably got several days like this ahead of me.

We also have a lot to get done on the business front, beginning with bringing in enough sales to let us prepay all of next year's quarterly taxes. We have new work: two new pieces, a cuff and a pendant, posted here the other day, and another new cuff that I posted yesterday.
