I love the look of the sun shining through new aspens leaves against stormy skies. They look like jade, translucent, luminous, electric.

We have plenty of stormy skies today, too, and we've even had a brief but strong and steady rain. Supposedly there will be more of that before the day is out, but as always, we'll believe it when it actually happens, because weather forecasts for this place are notoriously error-riddled. If we're lucky, we will get more rain; the forecast says our monsoon season has started a whole month early, and the land can certainly use it. So can the firefighters south of here, I imagine.

The more metaphorical stormy skies are abundant, too, but not nearly so useful. Wings got the ancient Ford running, but it's . . . sketchy, so we're trying to avoid any errands right now until we find out what's up with the RAM and get it fixed. I'm dreading Wednesday; the tow fee and all the hassle and then sitting on pins and needles until the problem's DX'd. If the whole radiator's shot . . . I don't know how we afford that. If you have any pull at all with more powerful spirits, pray it's just the hoses.

And I still have too much to get done on the business front, beginning with bringing in enough sales to let us prepay all of next year's quarterly taxes. But I can't even get time to do basic blog posts, never mind chase sales, and I have absolutely no bandwidth left for anything. But all the links are listed below, so please share:
