On the verge.

That's the pear tree this morning, with the stormclouds in the background. The blossoms on just on the verge of opening now; if the scattered showers we're getting this very moment don't decide to freeze everything overnight, we might actually have full flowers tomorrow.

It's nice to feel on the verge of something other than collapse for once.

It's cold, though; the winds have picked up in a big way and this morning's 70-ish degrees have dropped drastically with the arrival of the storm. We'll see what happens with the rest of the week. In the meantime, I have chicharrones going, and I have a ton of work to get caught up on, and I need to get to it.

As I said yesterday, we're going to be okay regardless of the hack problem, thanks to a commission from a dear friend. We also have new work: two new pieces, a cuff and a pendant, posted the other day, and another new cuff to come yet today. The second cuff was complete by two days ago, but I didn't have time to get the description finished and get it made public until last night, so it's coming in a bit.
