If you're not sure what I mean when I talk about thunderheads? The clouds up there? Those are thunderheads. They start out is little innocuous puffs of white, and they climb and spread, climb and spread, until they're towering, coalesced walls of pure storm. Whether we see any of that storm is another matter entirely, but today? We're getting it.

We're also getting some severe weather warnings with it: high winds, hail, chances of flash flooding. That's summer here, but this is a month early.

The truck is done, and it wound up being a lot less than I feared, simply because the radiator is just fine. It was the water pump that failed, which failure in turn snapped the drive belt, and there was an added problem with mice screwing around with the battery and its housing and cables. But no need to remove the engine, no need to replace massive parts, and so we're getting out of it in the high three figures instead of four (well, it was a few hundred for the tow, too, but I mean the parts and labor). It will be such a relief to be able to get around normally without worrying about what could go wrong.

And now I can focus on all the other things that are demanding my attention. I'm still going to be slow and late with everything, including the fabulous new cuff that Wings finished three days ago and I haven't been able to get posted yet. Maybe today or tonight; I should also have another smaller cuff and a pair of earrings, too. Anyway, all the links are listed below, so please share:
