Hellish.

That's . . . what it looks like south of here, when it's not full gale force. Everything's brown and gray, a mix of dirt and dust and probably smoke. I call these the hellwinds, and it's purely hellish outside right now; it hurts to stand out in it. It's not exactly great inside, either, because my joints are still in agony from it, and besides that, our otherwise soundproof home can't stand up to the high-decibel shrieking that filters through the minuscule crack where the front doors meet.

It's deafening, and I can't concentrate because all I can hear is the damn wind screaming.

It's a hell of a day otherwise, too; bomb and shooting threats for the school and apparently a grocery store, and I still can't get my fucking pain meds, a week later, because every Walgreen's system is apparently fucked. On top of that, on Wings's way home, the truck overheated; he made it home and he's filled the radiator, but apparently they did not in fact check fluids at the last oil change, despite both charging for it and recording it done, so now we have to wait and see if it's done any damage or not. Cross your fingers, because I cannot add this expense onto everything else. Oh, and that fucking casino is STILL trying to get that $500 out of our bank account via the hacked card, so Wings had to go today to sign the paperwork to claw it back.

I'm on Day 2 of a monster migraine, every joint system in my body hurts from these damned winds, my hand and wrist are still bad, and there've been multiple dislocations since. We've just had our second brown-out of the day, and it knocked our Internet access out completely. We have too much to get done on the business front, beginning with bringing in enough sales to let us prepay all of next year's quarterly taxes. But as I said last week, we've got Wings's newest work here and here, with more to come (you should see the big one currently in process, around the tree or so commissioned pieces in various stages).
