Early thunderheads.

That was this morning: early thunderheads. There are a lot more now, on all sides. Not that it will necessarily amount to anything, but we did get a small shower yesterday evening, and the forecast now suggests another for tonight.

We'll see.

We need the rain, but we also need more warmth than we're getting at the moment. Right now, it's just enough to allow the flies to survive, without actually being comfortable for the rest of us. And we have a lot to get done outside now; we have a very, very small window that constitutes our planting season here.

We also have a lot to get done on the business front, beginning with bringing in enough sales to let us prepay all of next year's quarterly taxes. We have new work: two new pieces, a cuff and a pendant, posted here the other day, and another new cuff that I posted yesterday.
