Strange skies.

It's a beautiful first day of May. We have some strange skies, though — and now, the clouds are moving in overhead in a quasi-monsoonal pattern. Maybe tomorrow's forecast rain will actually materialize.

We've spoken with the bank; it's a mix of wait and see on whether we need to claw back the charges, and just plain wait for the new card to arrive. That said, I think it was caught before anything could go through, so maybe we'll get lucky across the board.

Twitter's down, so I can't share anything that way; if you're reading this because you haven't seen today's threads, that's why. I'll be checking intermittently to see whether it's back up, but given that Musk is breaking it deliberately, I'm not especially hopeful. And no, there is nothing redeeming about that fashy little shit. The people who continue to insist that there is are why we're stuck here, and of course, they're the ones who suck up all the oxygen in their same eternal quest for constant all-consuming deference.

You won't find any of that in this household.

On more pleasant fronts, we're going to be okay regardless of the hack problem, thanks to a commission from a dear friend. We also have new work: two new pieces, a cuff and a pendant, posted yesterday, and another new cuff to come yet today. The second cuff was complete by late yesterday, but I didn't have time last night to get the description finished and get it made public. All three are fabulous, and all need to find their homes.
