All right, I've been promising these for days, and I swore I would get them posted today. Here they are: three incredible new works by Wings.

First up is the necklace up there, which is nothing short of extraordinary — an old-school, vintage-style, linked-tile collar necklace:

This one is just amazing. It's called Searching For the Sacred, a reference to the Sacred White Buffalo that gives the magnesite focal stone its name (and to the celestial signifiers in the stampwork and the directional nature of the hand-wrapped chert arrowhead pendant. The tiles are all saw-cut and scored and stamped freehand, the bezel for the magnesite is created, saw-cut, and filed entirely by hand, and the whole is just a phenomenal manifestation of Wings's talent. You can read its full description here.

The second and third works are both pairs of earrings, a small, modestly-priced classic style, part of a sometime series but each unique. First up is one in the colors of the day here:

These are traditional concha earrings, hand-domed in the old way, with freehand stampwork all across the surface. These are Stormflowers, a reference to their raindrop-hued iolite focal stones, a perfect translucent summer periwinkle shade. Radiant petaled patterns embrace them, and they dance beautifully in the light. You can read their full description here.

Finally, the second pair of earrings, wrought in the same style but with their own unique shapes and shades and spirit:

These are also traditional concha earrings, also made the old way. They're called The Sun and the Morning Star, and do they ever look like those two spirits of the dawn are dancing together. The focal stones are golden rutilated quartz, and the rutile is indeed golden, but the quartz is a blend of creamy opacity and ethereal translucence. The stars and the rays of light are all stamped freehand, of course. You can read their full description here.

As always, Wings's main page is here. Inquiries via the site's Contact formWe will still need to make consistent sales in this fourth year of pandemic and loss, and just breaking even means making at least one sale a week, so shares are much appreciated.
